2015 to be Best Year Yet at Lone Star Le Mans!

The 2015 Lone Star Le Mans is slated to be the best year yet!

The race weekend, set for September 19, 2015, is sure to be even bigger and better than last year’s weekend celebration for the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship and the FIA World Endurance Championship.

Austin's Texas-Sized Popularity

First off, the six hour races will return to the lively Circuit of The Americas™ in Austin, Texas. Considering the city of Austin only continues to grow and expand, each year is a chance for fans of TUDOR and World Endurance racing to explore the up-and-coming city.

With a long, expanding strip of bars, restaurants, night clubs, and saloons, 6th Street in Austin is the perfect spot for a night on the town with your friends and a perfect opportunity to further bond with other racing fans in town for the annual weekend.

New Cars, New Technology

Second off, the FIA is continuing to move towards more technologically advanced engines and race cars. While all other racing fans eagerly await glimpses of the automobiles on the internet or from afar, guests to the 2015 Lone Star Le Mans will see the newly renovated and debuting sportscars race across the Circuit for themselves!

An Inside Look

COTA Experiences’ guests, like last year, will also receive exclusive, behind-the-scenes looks at what goes into a race. COTA VIPs will go on pit lane tours and walk throughs of the starting grid. Guests will get an inside look at the TUDOR and WEC racing world with COTA Experiencse’ Official Ticket Packages.

Famous Faces

Pop culture and sportscar racing will collide with the participation of enthusiastic driver Patrick Dempsey, as he returns for the FIA TUDOR and WEC Championship during his full season run of WEC racing. The actor, who has recently focused his energy on racing, is best known for his role as Dr. Derek McDreamy on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy.

USCC WEC Towsend Bell HeadshotLast year, COTA Experiences’ participants who attended the Lone Star Le Mans sat in on a Q & A with AIM Autosport driver Townsend Bell on Friday and Saturday, as well as Ferrari North America’s Efrain Olivares to discuss the ins and outs of sportscar racing. Guests even were able to grab the drivers for photo ops and had memorabilia autographed by the famous drivers.

There is one question which remains for COTA Experiences’ Lone Star Le Mans guests for the 2015 race weekend: who will show up for a discussion and autographs this year? There are endless possibilities!

Party at Le Mans!

Last year’s Lone Star Le Mans was a weekend packed with live entertainment, festival-style celebration, and the beautiful sights and sounds of the world-famous cars racing through the circuit as fans cheered from the stands.

Because of the popularity of Circuit of The Americas™, as well as the widespread excitement the United SportsCar Championship and FIA WEC brings, there is no telling what kind of crowds, live music and fun the 2015 race weekend may bring!
